Abeline

Abeline is a beautiful, beautiful individual with intellect, humor and heart. She sat at the shelter for two months and started to deteriorate in her kennel so badly that she was marked for euthanasia. We had a volunteer take her outside the moment we found this out, and Abeline was a darling, sweet, baby girl looking for attention and fresh air. She demanded nothing more, than a kind hand and the outdoors. Tears streamed down our faces as we watched her inhale the air as if perhaps for the last time ever. We placed a hold on Abe immediately,  and brought her to board at our vet for a day to be vetted as she had an awful skin infection. The next was true freedom, as to foster she went. Abeline is the dog one can only hope, to call forever family. She’s silly, smart, cuddly and just so, so, so kind. Abeline is thriving in foster, and lassoing hearts in every stride. This girl is ready for her forever NOW, to start making those memories of a lifetime. She’s absolutely wonderful, and to think the world almost lost is heart shattering. The world needs more like our beloved baby Abe.
