Alex is the color of the sky right as the sunset decides to soften everything.
A one year old boy, 75 pounds of growing soul, still learning that safety can be permanent and love can stay. There is something tangibly gentle about Alex, something soft in the way he watches the world and quietly hopes it will be kind back to him.
Dogs keep him grounded. Their friendship reminds him how to breathe deeper, how to trust the rhythm of life again. Humans are becoming his favorite thing too, especially the ones who lead with intention, patience, and understanding instead of force.
Alex is not looking for perfection.
He’s looking for connection.
The kind built slowly, honestly, and deeply enough to become everlasting love.
There is something profoundly beautiful about witnessing a dog grow into security instead of simply surviving uncertainty. Watching Alex unfold feels like watching dusk settle over water, peaceful, thoughtful, hopeful.

Animals can be viewed by appointment only. We ask that you review our adoption information AND fill out an adoption application prior to setting an appointment so we have all your information and you understand our adoption procedures - you can do so online here.

Adoption fees: Dogs: $600, Bonded pairs: $900; Cats: $250, Pair: $325.
Fees include vaccinations, microchip, deworming and other vetting as needed. Our adoption process includes an application, reference check and home visit. Please note all adoption fees are final and non-refundable.
