Meet amber
Amber
Age: 1 years old Sex: Female Breed: Lab mix Weight: 86 pounds Good In Home With: Dogs, kids
Amber knows what it means to be loved.
Perhaps that’s what makes her story so tender.
Amber and her sister had a family. A dad who loved them. A life they knew. But when immigration enforcement and the threat of ICE forced their dad to flee, their world changed through no fault of their own.
Two beloved dogs suddenly needed somewhere new to belong.
There is a particular kind of heartbreak in stories like these. Not every dog who enters rescue was unwanted. Sometimes the humans who love them are facing circumstances that leave them with impossible choices.
Amber was loved.
That matters.
Thankfully, her story didn’t stop with goodbye.
Amber and her sister found their way into foster care, where they’ve been given the time, tenderness, and stability to navigate an enormous change in their little worlds.
She’s doing phenomenally.
She’s a beautiful, affectionate girl who absolutely loves other dogs and is discovering that even when life changes unexpectedly, there can still be so much goodness waiting around the corner.
Her heart is open. Her spirit is bright. And she has so much love left to give.
We hope her next family understands that Amber isn’t starting from nothing. She comes with a history of being cherished, a heart that knows connection, and the extraordinary ability to keep loving through change.
She deserves a home where that love continues.
A family who welcomes her canine friendships, celebrates her beautiful spirit, and gives her the security of knowing she belongs.
Amber’s story reminds us that compassion isn’t always about rescuing a dog from someone.
Sometimes it’s about being there for a family when life becomes bigger than what they can carry..
Amber was loved before.
She’s loved now.
We are looking for the people who will love her for all the beautiful years still ahead.
Come meet Amber. Her next chapter is waiting.
