I often get asked the question “What is MCP?”

It’s a band of warriors. A group that fights for the helpless, the ones that most look at and think they’re beyond trying to save; a group that do all they can to be their voice and their strength and their guardians. Sometimes there’s miraculous victories, and sometimes there’s heartbreak, but in those tears, we know we fought all we could for those who needed it; that those animals knew love in the end. It’s my honor and privilege to be a part of such a special group of people; to fight tirelessly every day alongside these compassionate people for these beautiful animals. I’m proud to be a MCP Rebel Pack warrior.

We take in the dogs who need that extra love and patience, compassion and attention; our fosters go the extra mile to help that animal become their very best selves, and our volunteers help get their voices out into the world so others can discover them, so they can find their true happy forever homes

I fight. I fight for the dogs that need someone in their corner saying “You are worthy; you are loved”

So again, What is MCP? It’s miracles and motivation, it’s community and commitment , it’s progress and pride.
