Ashley Issa joined the Professional Board in 2024 after getting progressively more involved with volunteering at MCP events, including the Rebel Ball. She was drawn to MCP being a foster based rescue, and MCP's philosophy of adopting humans into the pack, vs. adopting out dogs. She found MCP when she was looking for her partner in crime, a pup that would be as up for any adventure as he would be for hanging out at home. She got all that and more when Otis chose her. 

Otis had a lot of opinions and feelings about the world, and he taught Ashley patience, empathy,  and that each dog is an individual with unique personalities and needs, and blossoms when you listen and show them the way of your world.  Ashley in turn, has taught Otis over 30 words/tricks and counting. They took all the training classes they could - first to train Ashley, then for fun, and they are forever on some adventure. Otis is still trying to become instagram famous.

When Ashley is not hanging out with Otis or putting her organizational and planning skills to use to support MCP fundraisers and the professional board, you can find her at CrossFit or Yoga, or repotting plants. Her day job is in Marketing Technology.
