She came to us from Chicago Animal Care & Control with a broken leg, but spend five minutes with her and you’ll quickly realize her story was never going to be about what was broken.

Bethany has an almost magical ability to read a room. She watches. She listens. She understands. Then she quietly finds exactly where she belongs within it.

She’s wonderful with cats, great with dogs, and deeply connected to people. She’s gentle, intuitive, affectionate, and carries the kind of peaceful energy that makes everyone around her feel a little better.
