Meet Bogart
Bogart
Age: 10 months old Sex: Male Breed: Mastiff Weight: 35 pounds Good in Home with: Dogs, Cats, Kids
Bogart came to us because he was different.
We took one look at him and thought:
Magic does not die on our watch.
Bogart has spent every day since showing us just how magical different can be.
Our little dwarf Corso is quite simply one of the most loving creatures you will ever meet. He loves people. He loves dogs. He loves making friends. He loves being loved. And absolutely everyone who spends time with him walks away a little bit obsessed.
He’s everyone’s favorite survivor, thriver, and dreamer.
He’s also a champion physical therapy participant, working that wonderfully unique little body of his with determination and enthusiasm. And when he’s off the clock? Bogart assumes his other official position: mayor of the neighborhood.
He knows everyone. Everyone knows him. A walk isn’t a walk without stopping to greet constituents, make a new friend, or remind an old one that Bogart has, in fact, arrived.
Bogart has been through more than most dogs ever will, but somehow none of it has dimmed his light. His world is still filled with possibility. Every person is a potential best friend. Every dog is someone worth meeting. Every day is another opportunity to play, snuggle, explore, and dream about what’s next.
His body is wonderfully his own. His personality is enormous. His capacity for love seems to have absolutely no limit.
He’s goofy. He’s gentle. He’s wildly affectionate. He’s playful. He’s wonderfully weird.
He's a professional heart collector.
Bogart doesn’t want anyone to feel sorry for him.
He’s far too busy living.
He survived.
He’s thriving.
He’s dreaming.
Now our mayor is campaigning for the only position he hasn’t landed yet:
Forever family.
