Cheese Dog is a very good boy. He is super affectionate and loves having his head rest on your lap and cuddling in bed. He has a whole night time routine where he nests and does back flips in excitement to snuggle in for the night. He is good with other dogs, always wanting to meet every dog we see. He doesn't always play with other dogs until he knows them well, but once he feels comfortable, he will play all day long. He is good on the leash and wants to stop and smell every single thing. He’s a historian, he needs all that was written. He’s a doer, a leader, an outdoorsman. He’s not an elder wizard ready to completely retire. He appreciates using his brain and learning. He does bark when he sees other dogs on walks, but it isn't aggressive, he just wants to meet EVERYBODY. He is highly food motivated and a quick learner. He will follow you everywhere you go, not wanting to miss anything. Everyone who meets him falls in love with him. He would do best in a home that has some space to run and play where he wouldn't be left alone for long periods of time. He goes into his kennel with the command 'kennel' and often just sleeps in there with the door open. He is a wonderful, sweet, loving dog and will be a fantastic and loyal member of your family!
