Meet Donny

Donny

Age: 2.5 years old Sex: Male Breed: French Bulldog  Weight: 26 pounds Good In Home With: Dogs, Cats, Kids

When you walk through the door, he begins the show. There’s a trot, then a wiggle, then the grand finale—two polite hops and a tiny snort that says, “Ta‑da, you’re home. Please assume the lap position.” At 26 pounds, he’s compact enough to be portable, expressive enough to be a one‑dog sitcom, and convinced that your knees were custom‑ordered just for him.

He is a 2.5‑year‑old French Bulldog with a heart that refuses to play it cool. If you move rooms, he escorts you like a cheerful security detail. If you sit down, he’s airborne—parachuting into your lap with the confidence of a seasoned professional. Doors are suggestions; closed ones are tragedies narrowly averted by waiting outside and breathing encouragingly. He wants to be everywhere you are, to narrate your day in soft grumbles and enthusiastic eye contact, to anchor himself to you with a warm chin and a contented sigh.

Out in the world, he treats strangers like future best friends and friends like beloved celebrities. Children get the gentle wiggle. Adults get the leaning shoulder hug. Delivery drivers get gratitude snorts and the promise that their route just became the highlight of his morning. His philosophy is simple: love first, ask questions never.

Like any leading man, he’s learning his marks. Doors mean “wait.” Leashes mean “walk with me.” Routines mean “you’re safe.” He thrives on the predictable—meals on time, walks on schedule, and generous intermissions for cuddling. Alone time isn’t really his genre, so a home where someone’s around (and where laps are considered public seating) will make him feel like the star he was born to be.

At night, he curls in, a 26‑pound comma at the end of your day, and lets out a slow, theatrical exhale—the closing credits to a story he wants to keep telling beside you. If your life could use a laugh track, if your couch has a vacancy, if you believe that love is best delivered from two inches away with earnest eyes and a crooked grin, come meet the Frenchie who never misses his cue. He’s ready to adore absolutely everyone—and to make your lap his happily‑ever‑after.
