Meet Draco

Draco

Bulldogs, amirite? Looking for a miracle? Well we tend to have magical dogs but in this case, Draco the Great, is a miracle in himself. Draco was born with congenial fusions in some of his vertebras. He found himself at Chicago Care and Control as a euthanasia request at 5 months old because he couldn’t move his hind legs. We couldn’t allow that to happen, have you seen his face?! Let alone his bulldog charm shown bright through his eyes on his little bulldog face! Since rescuing little D, we’ve had an MRI that revealed his congenial fusions. At first his prognosis was uncertain BUT Draco and proved his will and ways, and with physical therapy is not only walking, but running and doing stairs!! This kid lives for joy! He’s an inspiration to us all. In his recent check up with the neurologist, she spoke of him surpassing her expectations and she was cautiously optimistic for his future with a huge smile across her face. Draco is a riot of will, determination, handsomeness and classic bulldog stubborn and charm.
