A little rough around the edges. A little worn by life. The kind of dog whose story was written on his body long before you ever learned his name.

His heart never hardened.
He has every excuse in the world to be guarded, yet he continues to meet life with gentleness. Every day he chooses trust a little more. Every day he chooses softness a little more. Every day he reminds us that healing isn’t loud.
It’s slow.
It’s weight gained. It’s eyes softening. It’s learning that meals arrive. It’s realizing you’re safe enough to nap deeply.

Been through some things. Seen some things. Still somehow committed to making the world a better place through forgiveness, kindness, and the radical act of continuing to love.
Grizz doesn’t just need a home.
He deserves one.

Animals can be viewed by appointment only. We ask that you review our adoption information AND fill out an adoption application prior to setting an appointment so we have all your information and you understand our adoption procedures - you can do so online here.

Adoption fees: Dogs: $600, Bonded pairs: $900; Cats: $250, Pair: $325.
Fees include vaccinations, microchip, deworming and other vetting as needed. Our adoption process includes an application, reference check and home visit. Please note all adoption fees are final and non-refundable.
