Meet Gus

Gus
This young boy lived for almost a full year at a rural pound in KY. He had 3 very devoted ladies that went to let him out each and every single day. He looked forward to his time with them daily, and he was grateful. He never realized that dogs should really have more than 30 minutes a day of love and attention. He didn’t realize that life could be full of friends, adventure and fun! The 3 women that protected and cared for Gus in KY knew how special he was, and they wanted more for him. He deserved it so much! Well, Gus has been with us for a couple weeks now, and he is loving all that life can be!
He absolutely loves spending time outside with his 2-legged and 4-legged foster siblings, but he’s also enjoying all of his newfound attention inside as well! He really can’t get enough of what life has to offer him now.
Although he was in a shelter for such a long time, he’s wonderfully social with other dogs, and he is a perfect match for almost any dog out there. He prefers to match the play style of his new friends, and has no desire to be in charge. He’s also somehow potty trained and crate trained! We think this is all due to him just wanting to please his people. There really couldn’t be a more grateful dog out there.
Gus would do well in many style households. He’s just looking to continue the adventure with people that love him, and with people that want to do spend time with him. This beautiful, gentle soul patiently waited almost a year in a cage just to get a chance at his happily ever after!
