You know that feeling when you start a journey and you’re terrified, but your heart tells you it’s going to be worth it? So, you do it because that little voice inside whispers, "We can do this." That has been our experience fostering with MCP—only with a whole community on the outside shouting, "You’ve got this!"

We were drawn to MCP because they focus on the scrappy, overlooked underdogs. We knew these pups needed patience and stability, and while we could provide that, we knew we’d need a village behind us. MCP is that village. They have the resources, and the heart, to ensure these dogs don't just survive, but thrive.

They are hands-on and supportive—the kind of partners who pick you up the second you feel like you’re failing. You put in the work to rehabilitate and advocate for your foster, and when they finally find their forever family, it’s a beautiful heartbreak. You realize that dog’s life was changed because of this specific organization. Fostering isn’t always pretty, and it's a lot of hard work, but it’s a commitment we’d make a thousand times over with MCP on our side. It is always, always worth it.
