Lisa White has been involved in animal rescue for almost two decades, volunteering at shelters, walking dogs, opening her home as a foster and finding loving forever families. For Lisa, rescue is about far more than chance – it’s about advocacy. She believes every dog deserves to be seen, heard, and given a life filled with love, safety, and proper care, and that mission continues to guide everything she does.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Lisa has been part of MCP since its very beginning. She believes deeply in Marta and her vision for the organization and has proudly watched MCP grow into something the rescue community truly needs. I am honored to serve on this board to help directly influence and reshape Chicago’s rescue landscape.
