We have a theory about Mae.

Long ago, a great artist sat down with a blank canvas and decided to paint the perfect little dog.

A splash of ivory. A brushstroke of charcoal. A little black patch over one eye for mystery. And then, just when the masterpiece seemed complete, the artist dipped the tiniest brush into the paint and added a scattering of polka dots for extra charm.

Stepped back. Smiled, and called her Mae.

What else would you name a girl who looks like she belongs in a beautiful old storybook?

Mae is an old-fashioned name for an old-fashioned soul, and this little lady wears both beautifully.

She found her way into our Pack and is now enjoying foster life surrounded by children, learning the lovely rhythm of family life.

That's exactly the kind of future we’re dreaming up for her.

Not a grand production. Not a complicated existence. Just the wonderful, everyday business of belonging.

Children laughing in the next room. A tennis ball waiting on the floor. Family movie nights. A comfortable couch. Familiar voices. Someone reaching over to give her a little scratch behind those magnificent spotted ears.

Mae would love an easygoing home where she can simply be part of the family.

The kind of home where the dog isn’t an afterthought but part of the story. Where weekends unfold naturally, everyone has their favorite spot on the couch, and the smallest moments become the ones you remember forever.

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about Mae. Something that reminds us of childhood summers, family photographs, and the dogs who quietly became the heart of everything.

She’s a little piece of living artwork with a whole lifetime of love still waiting to be shared.

While we may never know which great artist was responsible for those perfect little polka dots, we’re fairly certain of one thing.

Mae wasn’t painted to hang in a museum.

She was made to be loved.

Come meet Mae.

Your family’s next great masterpiece is waiting!
