When she first arrived from Chicago Animal Care & Control, she was deeply scared. The shelter had simply become too much, and trust wasn’t something she could give away freely.

Since then, Mia has quietly transformed.

She has learned what it means to live in a home. To navigate city life. To build routines. To believe in people again. Through dedicated training with our incredible partners at See Spot Run, patient leadership, and the unwavering commitment of her foster family, Mia has become the majestic girl we always knew was waiting underneath.

Now 2½ years old and 115 pounds, Mia is stunning inside and out. Her beautiful patterned coat turns heads, but it’s her thoughtful heart that leaves the lasting impression.

Mia appreciates other playful dogs and would enjoy a confident canine companion. She is looking for a mastiff-savvy, adult home that understands one of the breed’s greatest gifts: trust isn’t freely given—it is earned, nurtured, and treasured.
