Meet miko
miko
Age: 2 months old Sex: Male Breed: Pitbull Weight: 13 pounds Good In Home With: Dogs
Miko.
He was found in a crack house by Chicago Police, a tiny body already carrying more than it should have, infected, starved, and with a story we may never fully know. The kind of beginning that breaks your heart before you even meet him.
Chicago Police found him… and found us. We got him immediate medical care. A foster stepped up. And just like that, Miko’s life started moving in a different direction, toward safety, toward healing, toward possibility.
Now he’s learning how to dog.
The simple things most puppies just “know”? Miko is discovering them in real time. How to play. How to trust. How to be part of a home. And it’s beautiful to watch. He’s curious, sweet, and soaking up every bit of the life he was always meant to have.
Miko would do best in a social home, ideally with another dog, where he can continue learning, building confidence, and growing into his fullest self. He’s the kind of pup who will thrive with guidance, companionship, and love.
From survival… to becoming.
Miko is ready for his forever family.
