Meet Owen

Owen

This handsome little gentleman is Owen, meaning, little warrior!  He might just be the happiest dog on the planet! He is so silly, loving, playful, and so much more. His personality is contagious, and he brings smiles to the faces of each person he meets. In fact, everyone at the dog park wants their dog to play with Owen, just hoping that some of his perfection will rub off on them! He LOVES to socialize with dogs and humans alike, and makes friends wherever he goes. It's impossible not to smile when you are around this special little boy.
Owen got a rough start in life as a severe neglect case. He had a horrid bilateral eye infection. It was so bad that surgery was seriously considered and seemed to be the only option. However, after only a few weeks  of the antibiotic ointment, good nutrition, and being surrounded by love, he surprised all of us. Even his doctors were blown away with the extraordinary healing that occurred in such a short time. Because of this, surgery was no longer even on the table nor was it needed at all. His eye sight was never effected and is still perfect, which he proves everyday showing of his masterful skills for fetch. He runs back every so proudly sporting his signature goofy trot.
He has spent a lot of time around young kids, and he’s always incredibly gentle with them. We’ve been told many times how wonderful he is.  He would be the perfect addition to any family. He's a loving dog and takes his role as loyal companion very seriously.
Owen absolutely loves other dogs, but he is even good with cats. Although he is still a puppy, he is very even tempered. He’s playing of course and energetic, but he’s just as content to lay by your side at the window, or even by your feet whilst you wash the dishes. Did we mention that he is just the best snuggler you could ever ask for?
