Meet Petunia potato

Petunia Potato

When a community comes together to rescue one magical being, faith in humanity is restored. This perfect potato was dumped at a construction site in Chicago. Once rescued, Petunia blossomed immediately. She was so happy to be around humans that wanted to give her love & affection, and she has been soaking up every single moment with her foster Dads since!

She loves to go on walks and adventures all over the city. She is a regular for Sunday Fundays at all the hot spots. She is phenomenal on leash, and she loves meeting new friends, 2-legged and 4-legged alike!

When Petunia first came to us, her skin was painful and red all over, but she’s been healing beautifully in our care. Her foster Dads have been taking wonderful care of her, and she is now cleared to be spayed. She’ll also have surgery to repair her cherry eyes at the same time. Once that’s done, she’ll be a whole new woman!

If you you’re looking for a companion to take along to places with you, go for walks, and relax with, Petunia is your gal!  She’s really up for anything that her people are. She’s just happy to be included. She is lower to medium energy, and does well in most any situation. She is happy and confident, but looks to her humans for reassurance. She is enjoying every single part of her new life, but she is ready to find her forever.
