Roxy. This sweet elder, good witch has had a long complicated life. We brought her in from Miami where she was red listed for euthanasia. Older, awful entropic eyes, her body wore a hard life, heartworm positive… in an constantly over crowded shelter all those variables add up to unwanted. We saw her beauty and brought her up Chicago for a new chance at life. We got her corrective eye lid surgeries so she could open them without pain for the first time in her life. She’s completed heartworm treatment and is clear. Healthy girl now looking to be seen as the gem she is. She enjoys She’s very smart, calculated and loving. She is truly just wanting a yard to retire in, to sunbath in, squirrels to monitor and to know she’s loved Forever on out without fail. She’s been failed plenty enough for several lifetimes.
