Santa. Is. Real.
This short and stout potato found himself at Chicago Animal Care and Control with awful, painful, and bleeding skin. We saw this addicting carbohydrate and swooped in immediately as it was love at first sight. His skin is already a million times better and as he heals he’s proving to be a hilarious land hippo comedian with antics to win over every heart. A low rider with some passionate views outdoors, which earned him the nickname -hot potato-. However, indoors he’s all mash being mashed up into you and your human littles!

Our typical adoption fee varies based on the age of the dog at the time of rescue: Under the age of 1 years old is $600; 1-9 years old is $500; age 10 and over is $400; bonded pairs are $800. Fees include vaccinations, microchip, deworming and other vetting as needed. Our adoption process includes an application, reference check and home visit. Please note all adoption fees are final and non-refundable.
