Meet Sweetie Pie
Sweetie Pie
Age: 3 years old Sex: Female Breed: Bully/Pit Weight: 55 pounds Good In Home With: Dogs
Short, black, and delightfully stout, Sweetie Mama found herself with another female (who we also saved because we don't leave family behind) at Chicago Animal Care and Control. Sweetie traded litters for leisure and is now busy being the best friend on the block. She rocks a charming pirate wink from an old eye injury, and it only makes her sweeter. In the city she’s calm, curious, and polite—happy to explore a new block, window‑watch from the front porch like a tiny mayor, and then log a marathon on the couch beside you.
Mama’s love language is quality time. She’ll shadow you in the kitchen, settle at your feet while you work, and lean her whole heart into slow Sunday cuddles. She’s adventurous when invited (neighborhood strolls, park hangs, car rides) and an expert at pressing pause when home (naps, Netflix, repeat).
Her ideal home is someone who wants a loyal sidekick for everyday life—walks, errands, porch sunsets, and quiet evenings in. Sweetie doesn’t need much to be happy: your company, a soft spot to snooze, and a routine she can count on.
This beauty has come so far and is ready to go home—for good. If you’re looking for a wonderful, affectionate companion with a brave past and a bright future, Sweetie Pie is it!
