Meet toad
toad
Age: 2 years old Sex: Male Breed: American Bully Weight: 40 pounds Good In Home With: Dogs, Cats
A tiny bulldozer, a garden gnome, and a very handsome potato, you’ll find Toad.
A magnificent little creature he is.
Toad came to us from Chicago Animal Care & Control alongside his buddy Frog. The two were surrendered together, and while their names suggest they belong somewhere near a lily pad, we’re fairly certain Toad was actually designed for a human lap.
Look at this guy.
The ears. The underbite.
The spectacularly squat little body. The face of a man who has seen things, formed opinions, and would now like to discuss them while sitting directly on you.
Toad is silly
A wonderfully ridiculous little character with a big personality, a playful spirit, and absolutely no understanding that his body might be a little too substantial to qualify as a lap dog.
In Toad’s world, if there’s a lap, there’s room.
He’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh just by walking into a room. A little comedian wrapped in muscle, wrinkles, and the most delicious collection of features nature could possibly assemble.
Guess what is underneath all that glorious nonsense?
A loving little soul who wants to be close to his people.
Toad isn’t looking for a complicated life.
He wants laughter. Comfort. A little adventure. A soft place to land. And a family who understands that personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule.
He’s part garden creature, part couch potato, part professional snuggler.
Entirely unforgettable.
Somewhere out there is a family whose lap, couch, and heart have been missing one very important little toad.
Come meet him.
Your favorite little weirdo is waiting.
