Meet Dottie

Dottie

Age: 7 years old Sex: Female Breed: Golden Doodle Weight: 35 pounds Good In Home With: Dogs, Kids

Once upon a time, our golden‑doodle girl knew only numbers—litters counted, days in a crate, the tally of a life spent as a mill mama. At seven years old and 35 pounds of pure sweetness, she was finally freed, and the world opened like a door she’d never seen before.

Foster life became her first real chapter: the hush of a quiet house, the miracle of a soft bed, the silly joy of a squeaky toy that belonged to her. She learned that leashes mean adventure, that hands can be kind, and that naps are better when shared. She is an introverted gem, the sort who blooms in layers—gentle, thoughtful, and grateful for a calm voice and an easy routine. With canine friends by her side (the way she’s always lived), she’s braver, following their lead through hallways, backyards, and brand‑new days.

She carries all the colors of the rainbow inside her—some mornings sun‑yellow and goofy, some evenings soft‑blue and quiet. And oh, the stories she holds: a few fairytales, a lot of non‑fiction, and a happily‑ever‑after that’s still being written. Watching her unwind and grow is the best kind of page‑turner—tiny victories, warm sighs, and trust building one wag at a time.

What she’s hoping for is simple and extraordinary: a forever family that will keep guiding her gently through this big world, ideally with a resident dog to show her the ropes and share the couch. Patience, peace, and kindness will do the rest. She has so much love to give and a soft, steady soul to share.

And here’s the part where her story can change more than one life: add a doodle mama mill dog to your family and let her journey spread awareness. Please choose adoption and help educate others to stop buying doodle puppies from mills and online sellers—the demand fuels a cycle of suffering, and far too many mothers never make it out. When we stop the buying, we start the healing.

If you’ve been waiting for a tender, quietly courageous companion, this golden‑doodle girl is ready to write the next chapter with you—one calm walk, one cozy nap, one new color of joy at a time.
