Her soul is made of pure sunshine.

Adopted into a large family. 

She was rescued from a deadly SoCal Shelter as a baby, and had a home, a backyard. 

She was very, very loved.

Then came the wildfires.

And she didn’t just lose a home — she lost a whole world.

When her family was displaced by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, everything changed. They had four dogs and, like so many others, struggled to find housing that would accept them all. Lainey was the last one adopted… so with broken hearts, they reached out for help.

She’s just 14 months old, sweet as they come, and wildly in love with everyone. Dogs, people, couches, belly rubs — yes to all of it.

She’s looking for a new family to belong to.

One that will love her, play with her, and let her be the happy, goofy, full-of-heart dog she’s meant to be. To call her forever.

She’s been through loss. But her spirit? Still so full of light.
