This darling girl was tied up and left behind at Chicago Animal Care and Control. She almost choked herself out trying to get free and after her family that sped off into the horizon. Goldie got herself loose but never caught up to her owners.

She was seen running around a Chicago Neighborhood dedicated trapper caught after endless pursuits by many.

Shockingly, Goldie's history is one of love, family life and training. She's socialized and extremely well mannered. She knows all basic commands and is housebroken. She knows the crate and knows well how to function as a part of a family and wonderfully so.

She is extremely friendly, and loving.
She loves other dogs.

She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but in her safe space and known environments she is a social rockstar.

We actually found the people that abandoned her and asked them: WHY.

They said they got her during COVID and could no longer care for her because of newly born twins that have overwhelmingly taken over their lives.

Moving forward, they had nothing but incredible reviews about who Goldie is as an individual, family member and tool all the blame for not being able to keep her.  As far as we're concerned, this gal is ACES and was meant for a lifetime filled with commitment, adventure and undeniable, unconditional love and devotion.
