Sir Wookiee didn’t come from the kind of place where dogs get to be dogs.
He came from a puppy mill, where dogs are treated like inventory, not living beings.
They’re often kept in cramped cages, denied real socialization, comfort, and basic care, and valued for what they can produce instead of who they are.
Just as Sir Wookiee was about to grow into the cage that held his whole world, the breeders decided to get rid of him.
When he arrived, he was horribly matted and terrified.
Before his shave, his coat was so matted he bent three needles as we couldn't reach his skin.
Sir Wookiee is a 2-year-old Shih Tzu with a bright future ahead. He’s a sweet, positive little soul who’s ready to give back all the love he’s yet to receive.
Wookie LOVES the chaos of family life, dogs, kids, cats. He's a silly, snuggly, hilarious, playful and joyful dude.
